She's a real foodie too and would thrive with enrichment feeding toys that not only satisfy her tummy but also challenge her clever mind. Chanel is eager to learn and would benefit greatly from ongoing training focused on basic cues and manners - especially working on her "four paws on the floor" and impulse control around doors and gates.
Chanel does best with a calm, structured environment that gives her the consistency she needs to feel safe and settled. She can get easily overwhelmed or overexcited, so a home with older, calm children (to be met at the time of adoption) would be ideal. Her perfect match would be someone who's home more often than not and is committed to making her a true member of the family - indoors and involved in everyday life.
She appears social with other dogs, but her excitement can be a bit much for some. A slow and mindful introduction is a must, as not all pups will appreciate her big, boisterous hello!

- A property check may be required before ADOPTION to ensure the safety and welfare of adoption animals. Rental agreements allowing pets will be required for adoptions into rental properties. Differential pricing may apply.

- While our shelters are open, not every pet available for adoption will be onsite and available in person. To express your interest, Apply to Adopt online and if it's a perfect match you will be shortlisted and contacted via phone by our Adoption Team to discuss the animal in detail.
