Hi, I’m Gus

Meet Gus!
Gus is a lovely little budgerigar with a bright song, a playful personality, and a special love for his toys-especially his bell! Though he's had limited handling lately, he still knows "step up" and will happily hop onto your finger. He isn't the biggest fan of frequent handling at the moment, but with calm, consistent positive interaction, he has every chance to grow in confidence.

Gus has always lived on his own, but as a flock species, he may enjoy the company of other budgies. If joining a home with existing birds, he'll need a gradual introduction-starting in a nearby separate cage and integrating slowly over time.
He enjoys apple and millet and will thrive on a balanced diet of species‑appropriate pellets, fresh fruit and vegetables, and seeds in moderation. A spacious cage with safe, appropriate bar spacing is essential.

Please note: we will need to see photos of your proposed cage setup prior to adoption to ensure it meets his needs.
If you're looking for a sweet, curious companion who's ready to bloom with gentle guidance, Gus could be your perfect match!
