Hi, I’m Mambo
Mambo is a sweet, sensitive gentle giant and enjoys staying close and leaning in for gentle affection once he feels safe.
New environments still worry him, so he will need a patient and understanding adopter who can give him a quiet a patient home for his true personality to flourish.
Mambo can become mouthy and over‑aroused with too much touch, so he benefits from consent breaks, high‑value treats, and slow, positive associations with handling. He is strong on lead, so continued basic training will help him build skills and confidence.
Being such a big boy, Mambo is not suited to young children and would do best with in the home but is social and would do well with a canine friend.
Mambo is looking for a calm, understanding home - and is looking forward to meeting you!

- A property check may be required before ADOPTION to ensure the safety and welfare of adoption animals. Rental agreements allowing pets will be required for adoptions into rental properties. Differential pricing may apply.

- While our shelters are open, not every pet available for adoption will be onsite and available in person. To express your interest, Apply to Adopt online and if it's a perfect match you will be shortlisted and contacted via phone by our Adoption Team to discuss the animal in detail.
