Hi, I’m Poe
Poe is a big, beautiful boy with an even bigger personality. This charming, chunky gentleman is a true connoisseur of life's finest pleasures: toys, treats, and tons of attention.
Poe loves to play-whether it's chasing a wand toy or wrestling with a plush mouse, he's all in (until snack time, of course). He's an absolute foodie who never misses a meal and will happily remind you when it's time for seconds-with plenty of meows and dramatic flair. This gentleman is however on a strict diet to help with his weight loss journey.
Though he can be a little unsure when meeting new people, Poe warms up quickly with patience, a gentle approach, and maybe a treat or two. Once you're in his circle, he's full of cuddles, headbutts, and sweet chatter. He's incredibly affectionate but does get overstimulated sometimes, so he needs a home that understands when this big boy needs a break from all the love (only for a minute-he'll be back!). He will show you when its time to pause the pats with some tail swishes, drooling, and mouthing.
This feline is also one smart bean having learnt hi-five, sit and a range of other tricks he is desperate to show off. Additionally, he loves his enrichment toys and has been seen flipping and chasing enrichment to get to his beloved food.
Poe would thrive in a calm, cat-savvy home where he can be the center of attention-just the way he likes it. He would prefer a home without another feline as he can get a little be jealous. If you're looking for a vocal, affectionate, and endlessly entertaining companion with a little bit of sass and a whole lot of heart, Poe is your guy.
