Lace is deeply affectionate and thrives on being close to her people. She loves quiet companionship and would do best with someone who's home often and can offer the time and presence she craves - especially during her settling-in period. She's wonderfully receptive to touch and affection, and with a little patience and gentle desensitization, she'll grow more confident every day.
She enjoys the company of other dogs and tends to meet them in a sweet, submissive way. A calm, well-matched doggy friend could be the perfect companion to help her continue to build trust and confidence. Lace would do best in a calm household and may need some time to warm up to children, so a meet-and-greet with all family members is important.
